Terms of service
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms are between you and Victor Abuchi, Kuopio, Finland (“we”), who runs Statiku. By creating an account you agree to them, and to the data processing agreement, which is part of them. Questions: contact@victorabuchi.com.
1. Statiku
Statiku counts the visits to your websites and the use of your apps, and shows them to you and your team: live, by source, through to sign-ups, downloads and sales. We may improve and change it; if we remove something you rely on, we'll tell you first.
2. Your account
Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account and for the people you invite to your team. You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live.
3. Trial, plans and payment
- Every workspace starts with a free 30-day trial of every feature, without a card.
- Plans are priced by the events your sites and apps send in a month, and paid monthly or yearly in advance. Polar sells them as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, adds VAT where it applies, and sends the invoices.
- A plan renews by itself until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Plan; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund part periods, except where the law says we must.
- If your sites send more events than your plan includes, we'll ask you to move to a bigger plan. We don't stop counting.
- When a trial ends without a plan, your reports close until you choose one. Statiku keeps counting meanwhile.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A new price applies from your next period.
4. Your data and your visitors
- The data your sites and apps send is yours. We use it only to provide Statiku to you, as the data processing agreement describes.
- You're responsible for counting your visitors lawfully: for telling them in your privacy policy that you use Statiku, and for asking their consent where your law requires it, including before you turn on exact location.
- Don't send names, email addresses or other details that identify people in page addresses or event properties; Statiku isn't made to keep them.
- You can export your reports, and delete a site or your account, at any time.
5. Fair use
Don't use Statiku to break the law or anyone's rights, to track people against their will, to attack or overload it or anyone else, or to get at other customers' data. Don't resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does these things, telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
6. Availability
We work to keep Statiku running and your data safe, with backups and monitoring, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. There is no service-level agreement unless we sign one with you.
7. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which deletes its data. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously break them. If an account goes unpaid for more than 12 months after its trial, we may delete its data, after telling you at least 30 days before.
8. Liability
Statiku is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights that consumers have by law and can't give up.
9. Law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes go to the District Court of North Savo (Pohjois-Savon käräjäoikeus). If you're a consumer, you can also use the courts and consumer authorities where you live.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then.
